Reviewed Tibo announcements and signals
Original posts checked: . These are records from that review, not a live execution status.
Reset credit rollout: Plus, Pro and Business
Tibo announced that a banked reset is being loaded into Plus, Pro and Business accounts. This is a reset-credit rollout announcement, not evidence that every account has received or used it. Check your available reset count in Codex.
Tibo reiterated a reset for Tuesday. This post does not specify an exact time or time zone; execution and account eligibility are not established by this statement.
Tibo encouraged a user to use tokens in a reply to discussion of the promised reset. This is a supporting signal, not confirmation that a reset has happened.
In reply to a complaint about model and reset availability arriving after launch, Tibo said the team is working to shorten future rollouts to hours or minutes. This is a rollout goal, not a new reset announcement, a delivery deadline or confirmation that every account has received a credit.
After reporting service recovery, Tibo announced plans to reset usage limits for all paid users across Codex and ChatGPT Work. The post gives no exact reset time and does not confirm execution or any individual account balance. This announcement does not describe a banked reset credit. A later post on Sep 26 confirms that resets propagated; see the completion record below.
Tibo confirmed that the announced resets had all propagated. This is a public completion report, not a check of your personal balance; verify your remaining usage in your account.
Replying to a user whose personal reset coincided with the public reset, Tibo said more resets are coming next week. No specific date, time, number of resets or eligibility details were given. This is a future announcement, not another completed reset.
Tibo announced relative usage multipliers of Plus 1X, Pro 100 5X and Pro 200 10X, alongside a higher baseline. In the Pro 200 transition, existing subscribers would temporarily retain 20X and receive additional credits. The post specifies neither the credit amount nor delivery time, and does not identify these credits as banked reset cards or confirm a new public reset.
Reset carryover after upgrade; not a new distribution announcement
Tibo replied briefly to Theo reporting that his existing resets carried over after a plan upgrade. This exchange does not announce a new reset-card distribution, an execution time or eligibility for other accounts. The aggregator lists a community-observed reset-credit event; its reported time is not an official execution time established by this reply.
Pro 200 transition credits: individual receipt report
Replying to a user who reported receiving 62,496 credits, Tibo linked the credits to the Pro 200 changes. The amount is that user’s report, not a standard allocation or confirmation that all subscribers have received credits. This reply gives no general delivery deadline and does not announce a new public reset or banked reset card.
28-day improvement or reset plan: no fixed reset schedule
Tibo announced that over the next 28 days, each day would bring either a meaningful improvement relevant to most Codex/Work users or a full reset. This is a conditional plan, not a promise of daily resets or confirmation that a reset has executed. No exact reset time, timezone or account eligibility was specified.
Following the Day 2 community poll, Tibo confirmed that the reset had been processed. The post does not specify the exact processing time or account eligibility, and does not verify an individual account balance.
Tibo confirmed that the Day 6 global reset had fully propagated, quoting the earlier end-of-day announcement. This is a public completion report, not verification of an individual account balance. The timestamp is the announcement time, not a precisely established execution time.
Tibo asked Pro users to choose between five-hour limits with twice the weekly usage and no five-hour limits with unchanged usage. The poll has ended. In a follow-up, Tibo discussed the results without announcing a policy change.
Following the Day 7 increase of the GPT-6.1 Sol default context in Codex and Work from 272k to 500k, Tibo said long-context fees are not charged when drawing usage from a subscription. This describes subscription usage pricing, not unlimited usage, a reset or a reset-card distribution.
Commenting on the completed Pro preference poll, Tibo said he had expected stronger support for twice the usage across Pro 100/200/500 in exchange for returning five-hour limits to smooth demand. This is discussion of a trade-off, not confirmation that limits or usage allocations have changed.
Tibo confirmed that the Day 8 global reset was done, quoting the earlier end-of-day announcement. This is a public completion report, not verification of individual balances. The timestamp is the announcement time, not a precise execution time.
Tibo said he has a plan intended to provide significantly more usage for everyone and hopes to complete it soon. No amount, launch date or implementation details were announced. This is a future plan, not a confirmed quota increase, reset or reset-card distribution.
Tibo confirmed that the Day 10 reset was complete, quoting the earlier announcement that it would land within two hours. This is a public completion report, not verification of individual account balances or a banked reset-card distribution. The timestamp is the announcement time, not a precise execution time.

Codex quota and reset questions
Can Codex reset history predict the next reset?
Past intervals describe the loaded archive, not a recurring promise. An average gap cannot establish the date or probability of the next surprise reset.
Are reset credits the same as an automatic quota reset?
No. A reset credit may need to be applied through your account. Check the original offer for availability and conditions. An archive entry records the announcement, not proof that a credit was used.
